What self-care and well-being mean to me as a farmer: “Being able to step away from the farm for a few hours to spend time with my family and not having to think about running the farm for awhile.”
How I might use this $100 self-care award: “I would utilize this award to spend time with my family. My wife was recently diagnosed with cancer and treatments have been a financial burden, so this would allow us to have a family day together away from the farm.”
Most important self-care needs that contribute to my well-being as a farmer: “Spending time with my family. With my wife’s cancer diagnosis, we want to make the most of all the time we face together.”
